Bc 54 – Corn Mother Site
Site Description:
Bc 54 is a small house site located 0.33 miles (0.53 km.) east of Chetro Ketl on the north side of the canyon. Located on the talus slope, this small house includes 15 rooms and three kivas. Wall joints and underlying walls indicate two construction stages, with the potential of a third. Ceramic typologies indicate occupation between the 8th to 13th centuries. Ripley Bullen and the University of New Mexico/School of American Research field schools excavated four rooms and three kivas in 1941.
Alternative names for the site include the Corn Mother Site, 29SJ1922 and LA 41922.

- Approximately 15 rooms and three kivas.
- Ceramics indicate occupation spanned from the 10th to the 13th century
